I'm incredibly excited since I just finished a new scarf!! Its a sort of knobbly yarn in all different shades of blue. It should be on the etsy page by sunday so keep those eyes peeled!! Anyways I'm almost finished my red and cream dog blanket. That might be on the page by sunday but I'm not sure. It all depends on my schedule and what is happening. If not it will be on there in the next week. We recently uploaded THREE new items, all gorgeous, all knitted, and all made by audrey (I've been slaving away on my scarf and dog blanket!!). Make sure to check those out. Also, we would really really really really love custom orders!! Nothing would make us happier!!

I just finished three really cute bags.

One is a yellow and orange drawstring pencil pouch with a cute clear button decoration in a corner. It's about 3 x 8 inches. The drawstring is cream.

Another is a small pink and cream bag with white ribbon lacing up the sides and distinguishing the button holes made for the white buttons. It's about 4 x 4 inches.

The last one is really cute. I used two yarns for this one, one is a solid yellow, while the other is a yarn of blue melting into white which then goes to yellow and back to white, to blue, and so on. It has a very nice cotton-y feel. It has a flap that you flip over, exposing a pocket held closed by two simple white buttons. This is a great purse for putting credit cards, business cards, and cash.

Hopefully, these bags will go on the website in the next couple of days. I'm not sure what I'm going to knit next. I was thinking of trying my hand at making placemats to put under pet food bowls. I'll start with pink ones for girls and see what happens.

Wish me luck!

Hey guys!!

This is my first post on our blog!

WE SOLD OUR FIRST ITEM YESTERDAY!! Hooooray!! I was so excited when I saw that the 'Lightweight Wavy Aqua Scarf' was not on our page! I couldn't believe that hours after opening our store someone had bought from us.

I figured that by the time we sold our first item we would have more products on Etsy, but since it sold so quick, neither of us have made anything. That's fine, this is our first transaction so we have to make sure that neither of us screw up. Haha, just kidding, we won't.

My dad and I are going to look into adding Paypal as an option, I just have to figure out all of the stuff with our bank. Hopefully this will encourage more buyers. I've read in so many places that adding Paypal increases sales, so we'll see.

I'm currently working on a purse. However, I used this gorgeous yellow yarn combined with the same yarn in a different colorway, but the yarns are not stable enough to create a purse. I have to figure out what I'm going to do with it, since I've already knitted a piece that is about 9 x 9 inches... maybe I'll make it into a blanket? The yarn is too thin for a dog blanket... Maybe I'll just frog the whole thing.

I'm going to buy some yarn today, I'm thinking some strong cotton yarn for a nice cosmetic bag.

See ya!

Hey!!! I've decided not to sell the green and white dog blanket... it's sort of an heirloom plus I wasn't sure how to do stripes so I don't think its good enough for the likes of you etsy buyers. Fortunatly, I did learn, which made the transition from red to cream a very easy one on my next dog blanket. I'm also about a third of the way done with a beautiful scarf that is summer weight and in a multicolor yarn of blue hues. It will be quite pretty when its done, and appropriate for winter and summer and in between. Its sort of like the wavy aqua scarf (that we just sold!!!) except it isn't wavy and isn't aqua, however it is summer wieght and just as beautiful as that scarf. Keep your eyes peeled for that when it comes out!

Hi! this is my first blog! How exciting! Anyways I'm currently finished a green and creamish thick wool blanket. Due to its size, I have christened it a dog blanket, however it would also make a beautiful baby blanket. It is about 20 inches by 45, which gives it a long and thin shape. I'm also working on a second doggie blanket. It is much smaller than they other one, which is designed for a rather large dog. This is for a small dog, such as beagle or corgi. It will be a wine color red and the same cream as the other blanket, however the pattern is half red half cream. It will be quite lovely when finished. Also, I'm going to dip into the scarf market, maybe trying thinner yarns as opposed to the thick yarns that I am partial to.
